CDPH Immunization Branch Provider Webinars

Providers are welcome to join CDPH’s webinars to learn more about immunization updates and resources. See our Weekly Training Calendar for all scheduled trainings and available on-demand training resources.  

 

CDPH Immunization Updates for Providers 

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) hosts a webinar every other Friday for California providers, to provide Immunization Branch updates.

  • Afternoon TEAch Webinars

    ​Quarterly webinars are held at noon covering a variety of immunization topics. While originally designed exclusively for Vaccines for Children (VFC) providers, non-VFC providers are now also welcome to attend.

     

    •  Vaccines for Adults (VFA) and myCAvax Training for Providers​

    ​​With the VFA/LHD programs having been released in myCAvax on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, all VFA / LHD 317 providers are encouraged to register for and review the myCAvax vaccine ordering training and Q&A sessions below. Additional resources, along with webinar recordings and slides, may also be found on the EZIZ VFA Resources page. 

     

    • California Bridge Access Program (BAP) Provider Webinars

    ​Archived webinars for BAP providers focused on using myCAvax, new resources, and BAP related updates. Learn more and register for upcoming webinars.

     

    • State General Fund (SGF) Program Office Hours

    Archived webinars for Local Health Departments and Providers focused on State General Fund. During sessions proviers asked questions of CDPH subject matter experts. Please see our IZ coordinators webpage for archived recordings and slides. Check back for future webinars. 

     

    • ​​Considerations for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Season 2023-2024

    CDPH RSV subject matter experts offer relevant updates, information, and guidance related to respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). For additional resources and up-to-date guidelines see the EZIZ RSV Resource Page and the RSV FAQ page. Check back for future webinars.

     

    Crucial Conversations

    Formerally delivered in partnership with #ThisIsOurShot, CDPH will begin again to host quarterly Crucial Conversations webinars, to assist providers in talking with their patients about the merits of vaccines and to encourage vaccination.
